On June 30, TEDxYouth@Kyoto will livestream the conference on its official page.

Physical Computing

In my lecture Physical Computing at Kyoto Saga University of Arts, students (and I) are learning how to combine Processing programming and physical devices.

We started off the lecture with tutorial of Processing, and then tutorial of Arduino, then finally combination of them. We are using Firmata and Funnel for communication between Processing process and Arduino.

My lecture records are now on the web. The latest lecture on Kansei Science featured a TED talk by Denis Dutton. He asked "what is beauty?" He looked back into human history... and prehistory... and even prehuman history!

Tomas Mach is back!

A violinist from Czech, Tomas Mach came back in Japan. Please check out his concert schedule at this calendar.

This time he is with an improvisation dancer Hana, and will play the violin + dance performance.
